Happy New Year everyone! All of you must be aware that break is frickin over! Anyway, since break ended, I assume it’s not a bad idea to sum up the holiday with a blog post.
Here goes. So right after school was over in mid-December, my buddies and I decided that relaxation is our first priority for this holiday season. Thus, on the first week of the break, we went on a road trip to Banff. In general, the trip wasn’t that bad, though we did encounter some, umm… odd incidents. Anyway, so that night we arrived at Banff, we went to Banff Upper Hot Springs and chill at some random places at night. Yep, so that’s what I did on my Christmas Eve. (Don’t need to go into the very details). The day after, I returned home; had Christmas dinner with my parents, and got the best 2006 Christmas gift - Xbox 360!
The following few days was nothing too deviating. Just went out and gather with my cool friends that I haven’t seen for quite some time. Tim went to UW, Ho-Young to UT, and Will at UA. Anyhow, it was nice meeting up with friends and chilling about the good old days.

The past week has been extremely stressful due to the fact that I had to study and write 3 of my final exams. (日文試 is on the coming Tuesday). Well, despite all the notes grinding prior the exams. As I mention before, “…every once in a while, we must take a little break to chill and relax.” So to chill myself down, I re-watched the amazing, magnificent, kick-ass GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka). In my opinion, the best J-drama ever; also the first J-drama I watched - back in 1998. With the superb performance of one of my favorite actor, 反町隆史 (Takashi Sorimachi) who plays Onizuka; outstanding performances delivered by other actors/actresses, and most important of all, the meaningful messages the story carries out, GTO is a drama that will never fades. It is an inspiration to my life in the past, the present, and will continue on in the future.

Finally, everything is coming to an end; the knowledges we obtained in the past four months are about to be tested. In another word, it’s time for us to face the reality.
Unfortunately, stress is inevitable during time of exams, but every once in a while, we must take a little break to chill and relax. (Even in the situation we’re in right now). I suggest listening to some tunes, and here, I have three songs that may perhaps come in handy. In the end, I wish all of you who will be having exams in the next few weeks the best of luck!
